Held two weekends each year, Midwest 'N' Pioneer is pleased to invite all ages to an Open House of the largest permanent N-Scale layout in the Chicagoland area. With one held in the spring, the other in Fall, operational running is from 11am to 4pm on both Saturday and Sunday.

Located ¼ mile south of I-290 Eisenhower Expressway and ¼ mile north of Roosevelt Rd, Midwest 'N' Pioneer is located at:

From the parking lot on the north side of the building complex, enter 'Door A' then walk down the hallway to Room 110, Midwest 'N' Pioneer. Signs will be posted. Open House is free to the public. Our membership appreciates any generous donations in appreciation for the years of imagination, engineering and hard work put into our layout and will be used to further improve the layout.

We ask that only members wearing Club shirts are permitted to operate trains during Open House. Any non-member's equipment must be previously tested and approved by a club member to insure operation as expected. We encourage anyone wanting to test their equipment to stop by on a regularly scheduled meet night. Please use the link below to contact us for further information.

Feel free to ask questions while you explore our layout. Stay as long as you like, however due to the confines of space, we may occasionally find it necessary to limit the number of occupants.
